If you have a dental emergency, telephone reception, where possible, during opening hours. You will be given an appointment in a time-frame that is appropriate to your needs. If you require urgent care, you will be given advice to help manage the symptoms and seen within 24 hours.
If you have a dental emergency when the practice is not open, telephone reception and a recorded message will give details of our out-of-hours’ service or call NHS 24 on 111.
Here at Lagan Dental we aim to respect your time as much as you should respect ours. Short notice cancellations, failure to attend and arriving late disrupts our other patients and staff members. We are a small independent, personable dental practice who cannot accommodate the strain of missed appointments. A missed appointment or short notice cancellation represent scheduling problems for other patients looking to book. Due to the difficulties of filling last minute cancellations we require 24 hours notice.
Please advise us as soon as possible if you need to rearrange an appointment so that we can offer your time to someone who is in urgent need of dental care. As we turn away other patients to hold your appointment time, any missed or short notice cancelled appointment will attract a cancellation fee.
